Question/Problem Description
The Windows Active Code Page (ACP) is the regional setting of the Windows OS. ACP is used by the driver on Windows in the same manner that IANAAppCodePage is used on Unix. It will determine how the driver makes certain character conversions.

However, it is not always clear what the numeric ACP value is on Windows because the Windows Control Panel settings are descriptive values.
