Question/Problem Description
Application crashes while connecting to SQL Server Azure with Redirect configuration using the ODBC SQL Server driver
Steps to Reproduce
Clarifying Information
ODBC Administrator/ODBC Test app crashes while connecting to SQL Server Azure with Redirect configuration using the ODBC SQL Server wire protocol driver.
The driver failed to connect to SQL Server Azure database that was using redirect configuration policy and Active Directory authentication.
This issue is seen with driver versions 7.1 and 8.0.

Defect NumberDefect XDBC-12703
Enhancement Number
Cause
The driver was not handling the redirect properly when the database was using a redirect configuration policy.
Resolution
Fixed in hot fix 7.16.0427 and 8.02.0228.
