Resolution
The ODBC & JDBC Salesforce hot fix released 3/31/2020 (6.0.2.0733) has been updated use Salesforce SOAP API version 45 to connect to Salesforce instances. This Salesforce driver hot fix has been tested with all API versions from 45 to 48 and works perfectly fine. We do not ecxpect any issues.

Support for any new Salesforce objects added after the API 45 update, for example "InsurancePolicyAsset" will require a new driver update. The next Salesforce update is planned to be released by the end of August 2020.
