Question/Problem Description
Calling a DB2 stored procedure with the Connect for JDBC DB2 driver returns error "No more data available to read."

Clarifying Information
The stored procedure name has more than 18 characters.

Enhancement Number
Cause
If environment is DB2 z/OS and procedure name has more than 18 characters long and procedure is returning dynamic result sets the error will occur.
Resolution
Fixed in hot fix 5.1.4.0187.

Refer to Connect for JDBC hot fix download and install instructions for instructions on how to download and install the hot fix.
Workaround
Change the stored procedure name to contain less than 18 characters.
