Question/Problem Description
Can the bin segment of a 275 transaction set point to a file location?
Steps to Reproduce
Clarifying Information
In the 275 transaction set, there is a BIN segment.   This segment holds an encoded representation of an attachment file at the BIN02. The size of this can vary and cause the XML to get extremely large. Could the attachment information be replaced with a file location reference in the XML and when the file is translated back to X12, a lookup occur on that segment and replace with the actual data?  Does the XML Converter product have this capability?

Connect for XML Converters does not have this functionality.

XML Converters can do something very close. Refer to the Stylus Studio documentation "How do I get my binary data into XML?" for additional information.
