Question/Problem Description
Connection to Salesforce fails intermittently while generating the database catalogs during the initialization since Winter 19 release of Salesforce.

Error MessageError connecting to database [
[DataDirect][ODBC 20101 driver][20101]The native meta data is inconsistent. The object named ProcessInstance has a relationship named TargetObject65 which references an object named ExternalEventMapping that does not exist.
Database driver error...
Function Name : Connect
Database Error: Failed to connect to database using user [test@progress.com] and connection string [SFDC_EE_ENT_ID_TO_SFE_INIT].].

Enhancement Number
Cause
Salesforce is returning relationship between Event and ExternalEventMapping objects where ExternalEventMapping object does not exist.
Resolution
Fixed in hot fix 07.16.0262 (B0430, U0283)
Refer to 000001239 "Connect and Connect64 for ODBC hot fix download and install instructions" for instructions on how to download and install the hot fix.

Make sure to set the following connection option in the ODBC datasource in order to re-create the local files.
CreateDB=2 

Driver now handles this inconsistency and proceeds with the connection.
