Resolution
When the default namespace is changed, it must also be changed in the XML file. If the XML was generated from EDI on the fly, then use the converter option to set the namespace on the XML that is generated. The prefix and the uri options can be used.

For example
For the XML output to display xmlns="http://www.myapplication.org/ABC/XYZ" then in XQuery declare default element namespace "http://www.myapplication.org/ABC/XYZ";
