Resolution
The Connect/Connect64 for ODBC PostgreSQL Wire Protocol driver version 07.16.0296 (B0415, U0274) has been certified with Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL v9.6.8.
No driver changes were required.
Refer to Connect and Connect64 for ODBC hot fix download and install instructions  for instructions on how to download and install the hot fix.

Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL is also supported by the Progress DataDirect for ODBC for PostgreSQL Wire Protocol Driver version 8.0.

Workaround
Notes
The driver build 07.16.0233 (B0284, U0192) may work since no driver changes were involved with the certification. However, if there are any issues, it is recommended to use the driver build that is equal to or higher than the certified version.
