Question/Problem Description
Difference in behavior handling overflow when inserting numeric data into Sybase IQ on Windows 32-bit as compared to Windows 64-bit and Unix
Steps to ReproduceSteps to reproduce issue:
1) Connect to Sybase IQ using the Sybase IQ driver.
2) SQLExecDirect: CREATE TABLE TEST (COL_NUMERIC NUMERIC(60,10) NOT NULL,NUM INTEGER NULL )
3) SQLPrepare: INSERT INTO TEST (COL_NUMERIC,NUM) VALUES (?,10)
4) SQLBindParameter: hstmt, 1, SQL_PARAM_INPUT, SQL_C_CHAR, SQL_NUMERIC,60, 10, {char buffer of length 64} Parameter value: 10
5) SQLExecute

Observed Results:
Data is inserted successfully on Windows 32-bit while on Windows 64-bit and Unix an error is returned on SQLExecute.

Expected Results:
An error should be returned.
