Salesforce has reported that it will be dropping support for TLS version 1.0 and moving to versions 1.1 or 1.2.

Will the Connect for Salesforce driver still continue to work after this change?

Resolution
The Salesforce driver will continue to work with Salesforce after this change from TLS 1.0 to a higher version.  The Salesforce driver already supports TLSv v1.0, v1.1, v1.2.

Although the driver currently sends the SSLv3 client hello, it indicates that it can support TLSv1.  Salesforce is disabling the ability for the driver to negotiate down to SSLv3 which is where the vulnerability lies.

Since the driver already indicates it supports TLSv1, it will continue to work.

This has been verified against one of our sandboxes which has already been upgraded according to the changes that Salesforce will be making.
