Question/Problem Description
Does the Impala JDBC driver support Impala 3.x? The below error is seen when trying to connect.

Clarifying Information
Error Message[DataDirect][Cassandra JDBC Driver][Cassandra]The server failed to respond to the connection request. Please verify the host and port specified. The non-thrift based Cassandra client port should be used, which on default Cassandra installs is 9042.

Resolution
The ConnectXE for JDBC Impala driver is certified with Impala 3.x starting from hot fix 6.0.0.000142 (C0205.F000043.U000015). Use this or a more recent hot fix, otherwise an error can be received.
