Currently the Connect for ODBC PostygreSQL driver does not support anything related to the targetServerType option. That would be considered an enhancement request.

An enhancement request has been opened regarding this feature. If this functionality is desired, place go the following link and vote to have this feature added to the PostgreSQL driver.
