Cause
The EdmSchemaRestrictions attribute is likely set to another value than "User"
Resolution
Set edmSchemaRestrictions="User" in the machine.config file. There are 2 files that need to be modified. (4 files for x64)

   C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\CONFIG\machine.config
   C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\Config\machine.config

   x64 machines
   C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727\CONFIG\machine.config
   C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\Config\machine.config

Near the bottom of the file locate the line and change to:
<ddtek.db2.entity  EnableLoggingApplicationBlock="false" edmSchemaRestrictions="User" />
