Steps to ReproduceUse the same username for both the Database Admin and Database User during installation of HDP with an Oracle configuration database.
Clarifying Information
​Viewing the error.log shows “Cannot create a synonym with the same name as the object”
Error MessageError: createSchema at line 266

Cause
When installing the HDP server, the user is entering the same name for the Admin and the User when prompted by the HDP Installer for the database credentials.
Resolution
Create different user names for the Database Admin and Database User in the Oracle database.
