Question/Problem Description
Executing a batch of insert into a table with XML type columns causes ArrayIndexOutOfBoundException with the Connect for JDBC Oracle driver
Steps to Reproduce
Clarifying Information
This problem occurs when the same statement is being used for 2 executeBatch() calls and the number of rows in the 2nd call is more than the number of rows in the first call.
Error Messagejava.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException

Enhancement Number
Cause
The buffer size was not being reset correctly which resulted in the ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException.
Resolution
Fixed in hot fix 5.1.4.000316
