Getting system error 193 when attempting to do a test connection from the Windows ODBC Administrator to Salesforce while using the Connect for ODBC Salesforce driver

The issue occurs on a new installation.

Cause
A previous installation was removed by deleting the driver directories. DataDirect drivers should always be uninstalled by using the Windows uninstall utility (Add or Remove Programs).
Resolution
Clean up any environment settings that point to the previous installation.
Registry entries pointing to the old installation may need to be manually removed.

Note: Consult with your IT department if you are not familiar or uncomfortable with performing any of the above modifications. Changes to a computer's environment or registry settings can negatively effect a computers performance.
