Question/Problem Description
Hang or error condition occurs on executeUpdate() to DB2 when extra NL character at end of BLOB content
In this scenario a hang may occur or error messages may be returned.

Problem does not occur with driver version 5.0.x
Steps to ReproduceThe problem occurs inserting a BLOB file that ended with a NL character. Removing that character fixed the error condition.

Cause
A check was missing to verify the length of the _PagedBuffer being 0. It was reinitialized only if it was null.
Resolution
Fixed in hot fix 5.1.4.000165
