Question/Problem Description
Hang running getMetadata() while using the Progress DataDirect  for JDBC for Apache Hive driver.
Steps to Reproduce
Clarifying Information
Running a prepareStatement(sql)then getMetaData is very slow and may seem to hang.
Running a stmt.executeQuery(sql) has no delay.
