Question/Problem Description
Inserting large text data while using the Connect for ODBC SQL Server driver causes "Incoming tabular data stream (TDS) remote procedure call (RPC) protocol stream is incorrect" error

SQLBindParameter and SQLExecute fails for large string data.
Steps to Reproduce
Clarifying Information
The data inserted is larger than 8000 bytes
Data is bound as SQL_WVARCHAR
The ODBC trace shows SQLDescribeParam on the column returns -10 (SQLWLONGVARCHAR)

Cause
SQL_WVARCHAR has a character limit of 8000 bytes. Any data greater than 8000 bytes bound with SQL_WVARCHAR will return this error.
 
Resolution
Use SQLWLONGVARCHAR to bind data larger than 8000 bytes.
