Cause
The backend ODBC trace of the operation showed that the hang occurred in the Microsoft (Text) driver odbcjt32.dll when setting the path to the location of the ODBC trace log file :

Resolution
Remove the Sequelink Socket Server option DataSourceSOCODBCLogPath from the Sequelink Socket Server datasource.
