Field size validation can be set using the "len" parameter. The parameter default is is len=false. Set len=true to enable field validation. For additional information on the "len" parameter, refer to the Connect for XML Converts documentation.

Note there were some previous issues when using this paramter. Install hot fix 6.2.0.1983ax or later to avoid those issues.
