Question/Problem Description
When MERGE INTO clause executed on CLOB datatype causing JDBC Error.
Steps to Reproduce1 - create table TABLENAME (TEST_ID int , TEST_WORKSPACE_ID int , TEST_MEMO1 clob)
2 - user MERGE clause as below
MERGE INTO TABLENAME USING DUAL ON (TEST_WORKSPACE_ID=?) WHEN NOT MATCHED THEN INSERT (TEST_MEMO1) VALUES (?) WHEN MATCHED THEN UPDATE SET TEST_MEMO1=?
3 - InputStream S1 = new ByteArrayInputStream(S.getBytes());
4 - PreparedStatement.setAsciiStream(2, S1);
5 - PreparedStatement.setAsciiStream(3, S2);
6 - PreparedStatement.execute();

LOB(Large Object) data binding added for MERGE clause.
Resolution
Fixed in hot fix 5.1.4.000466 (F000381.U000186)
