Question/Problem Description
Below error is received during connection to MongoDB using Progress DataDirect for ODBC for MongoDB driver after installing the hotfix on an existing base install

Error MessageRR_4036 Error connecting to database [ [DataDirect][ODBC MongoDB driver]A Java VM has already been created.

[DataDirect][ODBC MongoDB driver]SQL Engine service could not be reached, falling back to Direct SQL Engine mode.

Cause
After installing the latest patch, the service was not registered in the windows registry.
Resolution
Install the driver as Local Administrator.
