Question/Problem Description
READER.READ() function returns 0 when reaching the end of stream on CLOB data with the Connect for JDBC DB2 driver
Steps to Reproduce
Clarifying Information
When writing a document to a CLOB and reading it back, the Reader.read() function always returns 0 instead of -1 when reaching the end of documents
Problem only occurs with UTF8 database.
Error Message

Enhancement Number
Cause
The length of the data was not read properly by the driver.
Resolution
Fixed in hot fix  5.1.4.000179
