Question/Problem Description
Connect for JDBC Redshift driver returns column size in place of result set string length.
Steps to Reproduce
Clarifying Information
For example create a column XYZ(char 4096) and insert 3 characters. Querying the column will have a result set with a string length of 4096 characters.

Resolution
The driver is behaving as expected. A char value is padded to the defined length of the column.
Using a varchar column type will return only a string length of only the characters in the result set.
