Question/Problem Description
When executing SQLDescribeParam, the Connect for ODBC Oracle Wire Protocol driver failed to return an error message when using an invalid hostname. 
 
Steps to Reproduce
Clarifying Information
The problem only occurs on Unicode applications.
Error Message[DataDirect][ODBC Oracle Wire Protocol driver]String data, right truncated. Error in parameter 1.

Enhancement Number
Cause
The Oracle driver was not displaying the error message which was being returned by the database.
Resolution
Fixed in hot fix 7.16.0283
