Question/Problem Description

SQLProcedures is returning data for the REMARKS column larger than the defined length of 254 with the Connect for ODBC MySQL Driver.  Some stored procedures in MySQL may contain REMARKS column data that is larger than the length defined for this column in the results for SQLProcedures().

Steps to ReproduceCall SQLProcedures() on a stored procedure that contains a REMARKS value larger than 254 characters.

Cause
Internal driver buffer was larger than the defined size of the REMARKS column for SQLProcedures() and inadvertently allowed a larger value to be returned.
Resolution
Fixed in version 7.1.6.0180 or higher.
