Clarifying Information
The only valid data in this element would be D8 or RD8. The generated 997 shows accepted for this transaction. Is there a specific setting that must be turned on for this type of validation?

By default, the driver does not validate codelists unless the feature is enabled.  Add the connection property tbl=yes to the URL to resolve the issue.
