Cause
The Cassadra database no longer supports the Thrift Protocol.
Resolution
The Connect for JDBC Cassandra Dirver has been updated to use the "Binary Protocol". If this error message occurs upgrade to the latest Connect for JDBC Cassandra hot fix.
