Steps to Reproduce | DDL to reproduce issue:
The following example is using the MongoDB client > use test switched to db test > db.rvtest.insertOne({id: 1, name: "ABC", decval: NumberDecimal("5.1234")}) { "acknowledged" : true, "insertedId" : ObjectId("5a29888704e7d90c308b3ad7") } > db.rvtest.find() { "_id" : ObjectId("5a29888704e7d90c308b3ad7"), "id" : 1, "name" : "ABC", "decval" : NumberDecimal("5.1234") } Steps to reproduce: Test connect to MongoDB 3.4 that has a decimal128 value using NumberDecimal(). Observed Results: Test connection fails with error [DataDirect][ODBC MongoDB driver][MongoDB] Unhandled BSON type: 19 Expected Results: Test connection should succeed and queries should work. Only Decimal128 data types should not work. |
