URL NameThe-Connect-for-JDBC-Impala-driver-does-not-return-correct-metadata-after-creating-new-table
Article Number000182252
EnvironmentProduct: Connect for JDBC Impala
Version: 5.1
OS: Java
Database: Impala
Application: N/A
Question/Problem Description
The table is created using beeline in hdfs, then data is inserted.  After that, the metadata is invalidated in impala-shell on the same node.  The new table became visible and could be queried using impala-shell.

However, when using the Connect for JDBC Impala driver to get the metadata, I can see the table, but no column is shown.  Just an empty table with no columns is returned.
