Cause
The "InstallDir" configuration option in the [ODBC] section of the odbc.ini is either specifying the wrong directory location or the driver message files are missing.  Each driver has a set of message files located in the /locale/en_US/LC_MESSAGES directory relative to the installation directory of the ODBC drivers.  The file names are the same as the driver file name, but with a .po and .mo extension.

The driver error message that corresponds to 8276 is:  "User / Password invalid."
Resolution
Ensure that the "InstallDir" configuration option is properly set and the driver's message files are in the location specified by the "InstallDir" option.
