Resolution
Kerberos support was added in the 7.1.3 (7.1 SP3) ODBC drivers. The Apache Hive driver build 07.11.0081 (B0058, U0037) (7.1 SP1) does not support Kerberos authentication. The exact 7.1.3 build version of the Hive driver where Kerberos Authentication was implemented is 7.13.0212. Upgrade to driver version 7.13.0212 or higher for support for Kerberos Authentication.
