Question/Problem Description
Why does getColumnName() return the column name and not the alias name if an alias is used?
Steps to Reproduce
Clarifying Information
1. Create the following table: 'create table EMPI(EMPNO INTEGER)'

2. Call getColumnName() on the following select statement: 'select EMPI.EMPNO as c1 from EMPI'

EMPNO is returned as column name, not c1.

The driver behaves according to the JDBC specification. This is expected behavior: getColumnName() returns the column name. Call getColumnLabel() to see the alias name.
