Question/Problem Description
After migrating from version XML Converters version 4.1 to version 5.0, a conversion from XML to EDI X12 5010 fails, but succeeds in the previous version.


 
Steps to Reproduce
Clarifying Information
Error Message[DDEF0102] FATAL ERROR X12 does not have a release character, but a character ":" (\u003A) was seen in the stream which conflicts with the current delimiter settings.

Cause
The character specified as a separator is contained in the data. A defect in version 4.1 of the XML Converters made it possible for this erroneous situation to be ignored.
Resolution
Either specify a different separator or remove the separator character from the data.
