Question/Problem Description

When installing the all driver package for HP-UX IA64 on a HP-UX / B.11.23 U ia64 64-Bit machine,  the installation failed immediately with the following error.

Clarifying Information
Error Message"This installer was created with an unlicensed version of InstallAnywhere. The evaluation period has expired. Please contact sales@flexerasoftware.com about licensing"

Enhancement Number
Cause
/var/tmp directory was missing from the machine or was full where the product was being installed.
The installer writes information to /var/tmp directory during the installation process.
Resolution
Make sure /var/tmp directory exists and has sufficient space before the start of the installation.

Since the error message in this case was not appropriate, the above defect XDBC-16859 was opened to improve the error message in this scenario.
The fix for this defect is not available at this time.
