Cause
For some databases or database connections, transactions are not supported.  By default, the drivers automatically start and commit transactions. If the AutoCommit option for the driver being used is disabled, the application is responsible for committing and rolling back transactions.  In cases where the database or connection does not support transactions, the operation will fail.
Resolution
Enable the AutoCommit option for the driver.
