The DataDirect DB2 driver does the limited block fetch kind of optimization automatically.  The driver does not have the limitations mentioned for the IBM DB2 ODBC driver.
LIMITEDBLOCKFETCH is not a feature available to configure for DataDirect DB2 driver. It is a configurable feature for IBM DB2 ODBC drivers.
