Question/Problem Description
It was observed that Salesforce ODBC driver  makes more than 10000 Salesforce API calls when doing a bulk update of 10000 records.
It appears that the driver does not use Bulk API for this operation.

Cause
The driver was not using the bulk REST path even with EnableBulkLoad=true for Update and Delete operations in driver versions earlier than 08.00.0111.
Resolution

Upgrade to driver version 08.00.0111 (B0593, U0419) or later.
Refer to Progress DataDirect for ODBC hot fix download and install instructions for instructions on how to download and install the hot fix.
