Question/Problem Description
The error below is returned when attempting to connect to a SequeLink Socket service backend data source.
Steps to ReproduceConfigure these settings for the SequeLink Socket service:
ServiceAuthMethods=OSLOGON(UID,PWD)
ServiceUser=User1

Connect to the backend data source using User2.
Clarifying Information
Error Messagejava.sql.SQLException: [DataDirect][SequeLink JDBC Driver][SequeLink Server]Authorisation failure.
or
Error 3061 Authorization failure.

Cause
User2 does not have access to the SequeLink service for data access.
Resolution
Add User2 as a ServiceUser
or
Configure ServiceAuthMethods=anonymous and ServiceUser=everyone
