Question/Problem Description
The error below is returned when creating a table in Salesforce.
Steps to ReproduceExecute this statement:

create table MYTABLE
(
COL1 DOUBLE(10) NULL,
COL2 VARCHAR(255) NULL,
COL3 INTEGER(1) NULL,
COL4 VARCHAR(2) NULL,
COL5 VARCHAR(3) NULL,
COL6 VARCHAR(10) NULL,
COl7 VARCHAR(10) NULL,
COL8 VARCHAR(1) NULL
)
Clarifying Information

Cause
The DOUBLE data type is exposed as NUMBER with the Salesforce driver.
Resolution
Update the CREATE TABLE statement as follows:

create table MYTABLE 

COL1    NUMBER(10) NULL, 
COL2    VARCHAR(255) NULL, 
COL3     INTEGER NULL, 
COL4    VARCHAR(2) NULL, 
COL5    VARCHAR(3) NULL, 
COL6    VARCHAR(10) NULL, 
COl7    VARCHAR(10) NULL, 
COL8    VARCHAR(1) NULL
