Question/Problem Description
When a MySQL unicode external database was selected during the installation process, the Hybrid Data Pipeline server failed to install.

Enhancement Number
Cause
Due to the expanded size of the data being stored in the database by HDP, the length of the data extended beyond the bounds of the column being inserted into and causing the installation to fail.
Resolution
Fixed in hot fix 4.5.0.71
Refer to "Hybrid Data Pipeline hot fix download and install instructions" for instructions on how to download and install the hot fix.
