IP address whitelisting has been implemented in HDP 4.5.

Administrators can now restrict access to Hybrid Data Pipeline by creating an IP address whitelist to determine which IP addresses (either individual IP addresses or a range of IP addresses) can access resources such as the Data Sources API, the Users API, and the Web UI. 


 
Workaround
Contact Support for a workaround for earlier HDP versions.
