Resolution
The localhost_access_log will contain the client IP addresses.  If there is a load balancer in front of the HDP nodes, then the Load Balancer must be configured to forward the Client IP address in the X-Forwarded-For header.  If forwarding the client IP address is not configured, the load balancer's IP address will be in the localhost_access_log instead of the client IP address.

If there are multiple users accessing the system from multiple IP addresses, the entries in the localhost_access_log would need to be correlated with the logs in the das subfolder to determine which user corresponds to which IP address.
