Question/Problem Description
When attempting to install Connect for ADO.Net Providers, an error occurs.

Cause
This error can occur during installation of the Connect for ADO.Net Providers if there is a conflict with existing software or if the .Net Framework 3.5 is not enabled on the Windows system. 
Resolution
First confirm that the .Net Framework 3.5 is enabled in Windows Features.  .Net Framework 3.5 includes Framework 3.0 and 2.0.

If .Net Framework 3.5 is enabled.  The problem may be a conflict with existing software.

If attempting to install using the "Modify" option of the installer for an existing installation, try uninstalling the existing installation and installing again.

If the problem persists, please contact support.
