The DB2 diag.log is filling up with the mentioned error .

Cause
The driver attempts to connect with the codepage 1252 by default . If the codepage is not supported by the database, it falls back to UTF-8 codepage(1208) and tries to connect again. This is the reason, connections are successful however the error message of the codepage mismatch is seen in the DB2 logs.
