Oracle metadata calls like getPrimaryKeys or getColumns return empty resultset.

Cause
Oracle database requires schema, table and column names are entered in upper case.
Resolution
Make sure the schema, table and or column name value(s) are written in upper case.
Like : rs = dbMetaData.getColumns(null, "DBO", "EMP", null);
