Defect Number
Enhancement Number
Cause
Product2Id was not introduced until Salesforce API version 39.  The particular build of the Connect for JDBC Salesforce 5.1 driver was only at Salesforce API level 34.  The Connect for JDBC Salesforce 6.0 driver is at a higher Salesforce API level than Salesforce API version 39.
Resolution
The latest 5.1 and 6.0 Connect for JDBC Salesforce drivers implement a higher Salesforce API version than 39 and will allow for access of the Product2Id standard column.

Refer to "Connect for JDBC hot fix download and install instructions" for instructions on how to download and install the hot fix.
