Question/Problem Description
Informix wire protocol driver hangs during a literal or parameterized insert when empty string is provided for a text type field.
Steps to ReproduceCreate the following table in Informix database

CREATE TABLE double_text
(
F_INT INTEGER,
F_TEXT1 TEXT,
F_TEXT2 TEXT
)

Insert the following values

INSERT INTO double_text (F_INT,F_TEXT1,F_TEXT2) VALUES (1,'','aaa')
