Question/Problem Description
Below error is received while trying to connect to Salesforce using Progress DataDirect ConnectXE ODBC drive for Salesforce when Salesforce is configured with Platform Encryption

Clarifying Information
Issue was observed in Salesforce ODBC Driver versionĀ 7.10.4.136 and sforce.jar versionĀ 5.1.3.000122

Upgrade to Salesforce ODBC Driver versionĀ 07.16.0210 (B0307, U0205) or higher.
Workaround
we changed the host name on the ODBC connection on server to: login.salesforce.com/services/Soap/u/26.0
